SP650 Stone GraderWith the Stone Grader SP 650 you can change the grit size of the Tormek original grindstone to give a finer sharpening surface. The other side of the Stone grader is used to maintain the grindstone, bringing new abrasive grains to the surface for an effective sharpening. The Tormek Original Grindstone is designed so that it can be treated with the Stone Grader to change its quality from fast grinding to fine sharpening. This has obvious advantages.
With the Stone Grader SP-650 you can change the grit size of the Tormek original grindstone to give a finer sharpening surface. The other side of the Stone grader is used to maintain the grindstone, bringing new abrasive grains to the surface for an effective sharpening. The Tormek Original Grindstone is designed so that it can be treated with the Stone Grader to change its quality from fast grinding to fine sharpening. This has obvious advantages. Once you have created the desired shape on your tool, for example a chisel, you can get an even finer edge using the same grindstone and the same grinding machine with the same jig and settings. Besides being convenient not having to change equipment, you are guaranteed to get exactly the same edge angle. If you want to adjust the stone to a finer sharpening, press the fine side of the stone grader towards the stone surface for about 30 seconds. This will alter the function of the surface of the Tormek Original Grindstone (220 grit) making it work like a 1000 grit stone. When you want to go back to the original 220 grit, simply press the coarse side towards the stone for a few seconds until you can notice the stone surface changing. To keep the stone fresh and efficient, use the coarse side of the stone grader when you see it is needed. Press it firmly with your hands for about 30 seconds. This process does not place excessive wear on the grindstone and can be repeated any number of times.Shipping Notes

I've had this for a week and I'm impressed! There is no skimping on quality, which is rare nowadays. It is made extremely well, solid yet soft. I love the feel of the outer cover. It's comfortable and stays in place. And let me add... I'm putting it to the test. I have a rolling over-bed/couch desk. It has a raised 1/4" lip around the top. I put this wrist-rest on top of that lip. So far there's not any wear across the bottom of this wrist-rest. And that's with me using it for my wrists... and my elbows. It far surpasses the last rest I bought. From my experience, many sellers slap the phrase "memory foam" on their products when they are not. That's NOT the case here. This rest immediately bounces back to its original shape. It's true memory foam! It's so comfortable that I forget it's there yet I enjoy the comfort immensely. Also, it has no smell. ***From my experience so far... I highly recommend this product!

Comfortable and functional, but beware of cardboard/mdf insert

I’ve been using this wrist rest for a bit now, and for the most part, it does exactly what it’s supposed to do. It provides a comfortable amount of support for my wrists during long typing sessions, and the cooling gel aspect is definitely a nice touch that adds to the overall comfort.
That said, there are a couple of drawbacks to keep in mind. The surface seems to attract dirt and grime pretty quickly, so you’ll need to wipe it down often to keep it looking clean. More importantly, the build quality of the base is disappointing. I believe its a cardboard inserted into the bottom, which snapped very easily when I was just barely bending it while cleaning it. It’s a shame because the rest of the product is great, but I really wish they had used a more rigid, durable material for the bottom instead of whatever this cardboard/mdf is. This is why I’m giving it 4 stars.

I love it!

This wrist pad is the right size, approx. 14” wide. It provides support and doesn’t hurt my wrist. I needed a wrist rest that was comfortable and this one is awesome. It’s has some firmness, but it’s not hard, and has some give to it, see video. I also like the fabric, it feels good against your skin and doesn’t collect lint.
The plastic gel pads always seem too hard for me, not providing comfort. Glad to find this wrist pad on Amazon!
It fits well next to a laptop or large iPad (especially if you have the keyboard to go with the iPad). The wrist pad allows me to work in comfort. With my laptop, I use this wrist pad along with a soft mousepad, on the right side of my laptop.

Super soft and very comfortable! It perfectly fits my 75% keyboard. It was almost impossible to find one at this size and I'm glad I did. There's no "overhang" at all and its flush with my keyboard. It stays put and isn't slippery at all and it's just the right height too.
